Your tasks:

• Support in the planning, design and implementation of security measures in the firewall environment with manufacturers such as Palo Alto (knowledge of Fortinet and Checkpoint is an advantage)
• Participation in providing technical advice to improve the customer security environment
• Operation and support of security solutions in the field of network and endpoint protection with manufacturers such as Vectra and Cybereason
• performance monitoring
• Analysis, classification & elimination of faults
• Creating and updating use cases/documentation
• Co-design and further development of managed security services and processes
• Ensuring the quality of service in support
• Independent handling of operative administration tasks according to ITIL

What to bring:

• Successfully completed technical studies or comparable training in the field of computer science, ideally with a focus on network and/or IT security
• Theoretical and practical expertise in network, routing and
  security protocols and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
• Good knowledge of operating IT security systems (FW, UTM, Proxy, IPS, VPN, SIEM, Log Management)
• Good analytical and communication skills as well as a structured approach to error analysis and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a team, service orientation and enthusiasm for new things
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to participate in an on-call service in consultation with colleagues
