Working as a Presales Solution Specialist ( Protect - Security )

As a Cybersecurity Presales Solution Specialist - Security, you’ll be the technical expert supporting our sales team. Your mission? To design and present security solutions that meet our customers’ unique needs.

You will provide technical support during the sales process, understand customer requirements, and present tailored solutions. You’ll create innovative secure infrastructure solutions, complete with technical proposals and documentation. Conducting product demos and proof-of-concept sessions to highlight our solutions’ capabilities will be a key part of your role.

Engaging with customers to build strong relationships, understanding their challenges, and offering expert advice is essential. You’ll deliver clear and compelling technical presentations tailored to customer needs. Collaboration with our technology partners will help you stay ahead of the curve and enhance our offerings.

Staying informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. You’ll create and maintain technical documentation and share your knowledge with the team. Supporting the crafting of winning responses to requests for proposals and information will also be part of your responsibilities.

• Engage with Customers: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their challenges, and offer expert advice.
• Deliver Wow Presentations: Present technical solutions in a way that’s clear, compelling, and tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with Partners: Work with our technology partners to stay ahead of the curve and enhance our offerings.
• Stay Ahead of the curve: Keep up with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform our solutions.
• Document and Share: Create and maintain technical documentation and share your knowledge with the team.
• Support RFPs/RFIs: Help craft winning responses to requests for proposals and information.

What we expect of you:

• Tech Savvy: 2+ years of experience in security design or as a security Consultant, Engineer, or Presales Consultant. Specialized knowledge in security technologies.
• Great Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can explain complex tech in a simple way.
• Customer-Centric: You understand customer needs and can provide tailored solutions.
• Team Player: You work well with cross-functional teams and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve technical issues.
• Certified Pro: Relevant technology certifications like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point or similar are a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of network security, cloud security, and/or application security
• Passionate: You love technology and stay updated on the latest trends.
• Multilingual: Fluent in Dutch, English, and optionally French. ( Essential )

Bonus points if you have: 

• Knowledge of protection solutions for Endpoints, Networks, Infrastructure and Cloud Workloads.
• Experience with or knowledge in network solutions.
• Understanding of SASE (SD-WAN & SSE)
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207
• Understanding of the sales cycle and decision-making processes in cybersecurity.
• Relevant technology partner certifications (e.g. Zscaler, Microsoft, F5, Netskope).
