 Working as a Senior CyberSOC Security Analyst

Orange Cyberdefense specializes in the design, implementation and support of the most reliable and innovative security solutions and services - we are seeking a Senior CyberSOC Security Analyst to reinforce our team in Belgium.

In our CyberSOC, you will work with Europe's leading IT Security experts leveraging the latest technologies to analyze potential security incidents to protect our clients from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Your key responsibilities as a Senior CyberSOC Security Analyst will include:

• Mentoring a team of analysts in their various roles (triage, analysis, incident response, threat hunting, forensics…). Identification of training opportunities and establishment of a growth plan
• Advanced support in investigating alarms generated by SIEM tools, endpoint protection tools, network anomaly detection tools, etc. through in-depth analysis
• Identify potential improvements to optimize detection capabilities, playbooks and use cases
• Contribute to the overall enhancement of internal processes and tools used for security monitoring and incident response
• Provide recommendations for security improvements to our clients

Why are we talking to you?

• 5 years+ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role in a Security Operations Centre
• Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, XDR, SOAR security technologies
• Experience with developing and evaluating Cyber SOC processes: triage, incident escalation, incident prioritization, automatization, …
• Experience or strong conceptual understanding in areas like purple teaming, reverse engineering, dark web monitoring, vulnerability management…
• Experience fostering collaboration between operational teams
• Fluent language skills in Dutch and/or French & English
• Excellent communication skills and aptitude for customer interaction
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant cyber security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
