Working as a Operational Vendor Manager
The role of the Operational Vendor Manager is responsible to establish, own and maintain an operational governance model with our key strategic partners (internal & external) and vendors to ensure the operational and technical alignment between Orange Cyberdefense and our partners. You ensure that the MSS Engine receives the expected value from our strategic partners and vendors by focusing on alignment, governance, and enabling vendors to contribute to service quality, cost efficiency, scalability, and AI leverage. You define and implement a MSS Engine Vendor Performance Monitoring with clear KPIs to track the health and quality of our strategic partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic
Maintain technical and operational interlocks with vendors, including Product Management–to–Product Management alignment on roadmaps.
Ensure operational requirements are correctly translated into contracts
Validate support models, SLAs, escalation clauses
Key Responsibilities – Tactical/Operational
Performance indicators relevant to MSS services
Operational KPIs linked to service quality
Own NFR and trial licenses for lab and training
Identify systemic performance issues
Alignment between operations, product, and vendor constraints
Maintain MSS Engine certification database (in relation with vendor data)
Own vendor training for MSS Engine operational teams
